KL250 Day two

Nice thing about little bikes is that they don't take too much to strip down. Every thing came apart pretty well but lots of 'ODD' bolts and wiring.  Separated everything into - 

bit's and bobs for plating 

metalwork for powder coating

electrics for tidying

plastics tank and bodywork for painting

exhaust for repair

forks for resealing and polishing

Engine for cleaning

 Off to Blast clean tomorrow for blast stripping and powder coating.

1979 KL250A1 - start of strip down

Now that the XS is essentially finished I've decided to start on the KL - first impressions are that it's not going to take too long.

Nice little Kwacker - hopefully just needs a bit of love.

GPZ500 - WTF just happened?

Not quite sure how but a phone call from my brother in law just resulted in another 'Rescue Bike'. Picking it up tomorrow having bought it 'unseen' for £100! Possibly only 17000 miles

God knows what happens next!
